Abstract
Human inheritance from one's ancestors is not limited to inheritance in material things. It is possible to attribute spiritual dimensions to inheritance, which have socio-political effects. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze how spiritual inheritance affects socio-political effects. The main question of this research is: "Based on the teachings of Islam, what contribution has spiritual inheritance made to socio-political effects?" To answer this question, an attempt has been made to search for verses, narrations, and rational evidence with an inductive approach and to evaluate the data obtained with a qualitative method of ijtihad. The findings show that the selection of the prophetic lineage from the family of Prophet Abraham (AS) and the selection of the Imamate lineage from the family of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the governing style of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH) in honoring the owners of spiritual inheritance, and abundant rational evidence, indicate that humans can inherit some of these virtues from their ancestors, just as they can acquire virtues. Therefore, extreme individualism is wrong and in socio-political influences, the role of spiritual inheritance in the formation of the personality and capabilities of individuals cannot be ignored. The formation of the personality and capabilities of individuals, unlike their spiritual inheritance, is only an exception.
