An Intra-religion Analysis of the Strategies to Protect the Principle of the Political Independence of the Islamic Government in Foreign Relations

Abstract
The life of the Islamic government in foreign relations depends on maintaining political independence. Verses of the Quran and narrations present the highest level of strategic consideration for protecting the political independence of the Islamic government in the field of foreign relations; but now in the government derived from the Islamic Revolution, we need Quranic and narrative strategies more than any time before. Thus, among the questions that confront us in this field is: What strategies do religious teachings present for protecting the political independence of the Islamic government? Self-reliance, authority, diplomacy, efficiency, and peacefulness are only a part of the strategies to protect political independence in foreign relations. Therefore, it can be mentioned that: the present research seeks to present strategies which protect the foreign relations of an Islamic government like the Islamic Republic in frameworks like "Neither the East nor the West". The present research, using descriptive-analytical method and based on the verses of the Quran and narrations of the Infallibles (A.S.), seeks to highlight the role of Islamic awakening, national unity and determination, peacefulness by maintaining dignity and peaceful and dignified life and the like in protecting the foreign relations of the Islamic government.
