The difference in the basis, cause, type, process, field, and result of thinking among human beings bring about challenges. The difference in thinking must be traced in the role of leaders. Thus, different dimensions of the personality of a leader with various applications is discussed in research centers in different countries. Therefore, the pattern of strategic thinking of the Supreme Leader in political thought can be the question of the present article. Strategic thinking brings about intellectual and practical manifestations and entails capabilities upon which the popularity of the people and leaders depends and being deprived from it is regarded as an important cause of failures of communities and nations. The present article tries to assess the degree of the attention of the Supreme Leader to the elements of strategic thinking (adopted from the viewpoint of thinkers) and by that discover the priorities of the pattern of strategic thinking of the Supreme Leader to the extent possible. The present research uses discovery method and documentary data collection and the validation of data is done through experts' judgments and the result indicate that all the fourteen components raised by experts of strategic thinking are considered by the Supreme Leader and in his pattern of strategic thinking "paying attention to the perspective and focusing on the goal" enjoys higher levels of important.
