Soon after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, enemies which regarded the Islamic Revolution a great danger, tried to fight against it by forming and strengthening terrorist movements and supporting them in order to collapse the Islamic Republic of Iran. Therefore, the present article seeks to answer the following question: What are the consequences of terrorist movements of the 1360s on the national interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran? The authors believe that terrorist movements of the 1360s, in confronting the high goals and ideals of pure Muhammadan Islam in spite of intellectual and doctrinal differences (deviation, eclecticism (iltiqat) and arch- heresy (ilhad)) with each other, were in the common front with global arrogance to collapse and defeat the Islamic Republic; however, they manifested themselves in the field of terror and destruction in two central and peripheral kinds. In analyzing some part of the history of the Revolution from the new perspective in order to clarify the past events, the present article has use descriptive, analytical and comparative method. The findings reveal that terrorist movements of the 1360s influenced national interests in strategic management, domestic management of the Islamic system, foreign policy, economics, security and social fields and also imposing war and have slowed down the progress of the Islamic Revolution.
